There are many times that I feel so discouraged and lack the motivation or determination to do anything. Whether it comes to school, sports, or life in general, I feel hopeless. It doesn’t help that I’m difficult to satisfy either. Some people are just blessed with a naturally smart mind, talent, athleticism, beauty, good friends, a supporting family. How much I envy them. There’s always gotta be someone who’s a million times better at everything. And I’m… here, not even bothering to try to be the best I can be because I know my best will still not please anybody. With every loss or bad grade or being who’s slipped away from my life, I’m pushed further into believing I truly am worthless. I just want someone to look me in the eye and tell me honestly that they’re proud of me and who I am as a person.
